And now, emerging from COVID with youth mental health issues, we are needed more than ever as we finalize our New Ship funding package.
We do so in the spirit of excellence, sustainability, and adventure around the World – and as an Irish North-South / East-West maritime development, tourism, youth development, trade, and cultural integration charity. We strive to deliver a top voyage programme through the “STV Grace O’Malley” Tallship. And to build our ATLANTIC Youth Club, our Academy.
Our ship will replace the Asgard II (ROI based) and the Lord Rank (NI based). Currently, the ATLANTIC YOUTH TRUST is finalising our public/private funding package.
Local and global research has brought the Trust to where it is today. Over 25 organisations, youth and educational experts, naval representatives, and tourism professionals were consulted. And now we are confident we have the best long-term World Class solution for the Island of Ireland. It will be operated to a high level of professionalism for our youth to benefit for generations to come.
